Our stroke support groups serve stroke survivors and their family, friends, and care partners. Membership is free and open to all! Who are we? What do we do?
Members of Stroke Warriors have been affected by all types of stroke, including Moyamoya disease. Our members also include family, friends, and others involved in the stroke survivor’s support system. We meet tri-monthly in a warm and open environment. We share our stories, thriving strategies, and empower each other. We invite experts in many fields to speak to the group. including: Neurologists

We are so honored to welcome Mr. Avi Golden as our guest speaker at our support group today! We are learning about disability sports and aphasia support.

We had Columbia University InTOuCH Community Health Worker Trainees come provide us free of charge health screenings (A1C, Blood Pressure, BMI) and health counseling.
We also had physical therapists visit us and provide us tools for safely navigating uneven surfaces, trip hazards, in order to not fall!
Happy New Year, Stroke Club/ Stroke Warriors of Northern Manhattan!! Our next meeting will be Friday, January 13th at 3pm at Harlem Hospital Center
