Regardless of the dangers of the surrounding bushfires the Australian Open is still taking place. had to retire today due to the unsafe air conditions.
"I was really scared that I would collapse. I don't have asthma and never had breathing problems. I just couldn't breathe anymore and I just fell to the floor"
It's not just a sport, it's a business and it appears that business comes before health and welfare of the players.
