Since you all enjoyed the last alley so much, I decided to showcase another really well-tagged and historic one. I was surprised to see it almost completely empty when I went. Walking through it did not feel like I was in NYC.

Some truly unique and cozy-looking buildings on the Upper East Side from a rainy weekend.

I found this very-well tagged alleyway while walking around the Two Bridges neighborhood - right beneath the Manhattan Bridge actually. It’s fascinating to imagine the history of this space.

I walked past this striking building in Carnegie Hill, which is geographically above the Upper East Side. Interestingly enough, this building is just outside the Carnegie Hill Historic District.

There’s no shortage of interesting and one-of-kind buildings in Tribeca. The contrast between historic and new skyscrapers is all around! There’s also no shortage of alleys, which are really fun to explore.

Spent some time at Sunset Park a few weeks ago. Yes, the park, which is located in the “Sunset Park” neighborhood. The elevation was a bit shocking and the park was much larger than I had expected. It really felt like you were walking on top of Brooklyn.

Stopped into a community garden I had never been to yesterday in the Lower East Side. The garden is located on Suffolk Street, which promptly ends at East Houston Street. The garden was empty, quiet, and offered me an incredible environment for thinking.

Lovely set of decorated row houses on the Upper East Side. I thought the blue was a little jarring, but also striking to look at.

What a lovely mural in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. There were two murals and each of them couldn’t have been more different. The first mural is a more political message, while the second one was more upbeat and playful.
