Fordham University Army ROTC

In the spring of 2026, Fordham University’s 98th Army ROTC Commissioning Ceremony saw sixteen cadets commission as Second Lieutenants into the United States Army. The event was led by Lieutenant Colonel Robert A. Parsons, Fordham’s 45th Professor of Military Science, with University President Tania Tetlow serving as guest speaker. During the ceremony, the cadets took their oaths of office and received their official commissioning certificates from Major General Michel A. Natali of the New York Army National Guard, marking the milestone before beginning their service across the Regular Army, National Guard, and Army Reserve. 🇺🇸

Recently, the Yankee Battalion continued its time-honored tradition with a photo on Edwards Parade at Fordham University, showcasing the Spring Semester 2026 Cadets. Additionally, the Battalion conducted its Change of Command ceremony for Fall 2026, where the guidon is passed around from the outgoing to the incoming command team, symbolizing the transfer of authority, responsibility, and overall care of the Battalion!
