The Rotary Club of Inwood was established in 2006, we are engaged in different activities to beautify and restore the beauty of Inwood community.

Well, our Maria Lall tulip planting made pages 2 and 3 of the Daily News! Not 5,000 but 10,000 purple tulips were planted outside the Inwood Hill Park handball courts. We still have another 1,500 daffodils to plant, If you are interested in joining the Rotary Club of Inwood planting daffodils in our parks or in tree pits on your block, please contact Jim Kushner at [email protected] for information.

The Rotary Club of Inwood, Manhattan is pleased to announce that this Friday, October 29th at 10:00 am, we will be planting the thousands of purple tulips, paid for by your generous donations to our GoFundMe account, for the purpose of continuing the late Maria Lall’s Inwood Parks beautification projects. The tulips will be planted in Inwood Hill Park, in the field in back of the 207th Street cul-de-sac, alongside the handball courts. Gianna Lall, Maria’s daughter, whose fund has also supplied thousands of the bulbs, will also be there, along with Parks Department personnel and Maria’s Latter Day Saints work crew. All are invited. Please join us.
