December 1st is World AIDS Day
HIV is not a "lifestyle" issue. It is a public health issue.
There continues to be awfully unequal access to care in the United States.
Yes - HIV has historically been known to impact men who have s*x with men. But that is not the whole truth.
HIV also impacts:
- Heteros*xual Women
- Black and Brown communities
- People who use Drugs
- Trans and Non-Binary Folx
- Low-Income Families
- People in the South and rural areas
The HIV virus doesn't discriminate. SYSTEMS DO.
We don't need more silence. We need access, affordability, education, compassion, and action.
People living with HIV are atheltes, parents, teachers, leaders, artists, lovers, doctors, neighbors.
When they reduce care to HIV treatment and prevention, what do we do?
Stand Up, Fight Back!

Today, we honor, mourn, and remember the lives of our Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming and Non-Binary siblings and community members taken away from us due to violence and hatred.
Every year , November 20th is recognized as Transgender Day of Remembrance and reminds us to care , empower, and stand up for one another as a community.
Let us honor and speak the names of those we carry with love in our memories.
During a time that is actively trying to erase us, we remind them that TGNCNBI people and communities can never be erased.
We call on elected officials to uplift and empower the TGNCNBI community and creating wider access to essential services - housing, food, healthcare, employment, and safe spaces.
