WHAT: Jonathan Shapiro of Ivy Essay Coaching will show parents and students how to write personal statements and supplemental essays that stand out so students have a better chance of getting into their top colleges.

Jonathan has run summer workshops for Stuyvesant students, teaching them to write personal statements and supplemental essays. He has been helping students write their application essays for more than 20 years, and has worked with many Stuyvesant students.

Jonathan’s students have been accepted into Harvard, Yale, Cornell, MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Chicago and many more fine schools. 

Along with tutoring, Jonathan teaches writing and literature at Fordham University. He taught high school English in NYC too. Jonathan lives in the UWS. You can find out more about Jonathan’s work at ivyessaycoaching.com and newyorkwriting.com.
