Thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers who came out with Big Reuse this past weekend to help clean up our block and care for our beautiful street trees here on Linden Boulevard. These trees do so much to make our city more liveable and to combat climate change, they deserved all the TLC. This tree has shaded our library for over a century. We had an awesome time marking here at Flatbush Library earlier this month. Some of our youngest readers worked together to create a beautiful community quilt highlighting banned books and the freedom to read. Come check it out on display in our children's room!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we'll be hosting a free breast health workshop with the Maurer Foundation on Tuesday, October 20th from 5-6pm.
