A Think Tank on Humanism Applied
Hello friends,
We are in the midst of AI-centered societal and life changes, with shadow of a major war and planned changes for Middle East in front of us. Yet, maintaining healthy societal structures and healthy characters I believe, would be the major future challenge of us humans. I would like to invite a number of interested people, some with more executive skills than myself, to join me for a monthly meetings of “Humanism Applied, The Think Tank”, online or in-person in Santa Monica.

*Purpose: To brainstorm on usefulness and necessity of finding practical ways to bring human-centered efficiency (VS autonomous system-centered), into our systems of economy, governing, family, and education, matching them with the changing needs and psyche of people, while remaining reasonably compatible with rapid technological changes in the 21st century.
* Why Humanism Applied?
Having the focus and goal of human-centered efficiency in mind, could prevent unwanted or harmful consequences of "autonomous system-ruling" and works as a Torch to stay on the right direction, especially at this confusing time in respect to defining the meaning of humans and humanity. This one objective alone, protects general well-being of people, allows personal choices on daily activities, safeguards longevity and stability of any democratic system, and brings significant meaningful societal growth too. * Why Now?
My age, and the obligation to step forward and join some like-minded people and younger generation, on effective promotion of humanistic ideas, and turning the ideas into actual practices as much as possible, and before such humane ideas lose color, weight and values, facing the stormy currents of technological forces.

• Psychotherapist and life-coach in practice since 1995, in America, Iran, and Germany.
Employment experiences include; twenty years of Psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and project management in major public and private mental health agencies in the USA (Strong recommendation letters from previous employers. (CV upon request/attached).
• Currently, private practice in Life-Coaching, focussing on structured life-planning, improving social skills and relationship, facilitating decision-making and handling difficult life-situations, and guided practices in problem-solving.

* Professional Highlights:
• Writing and publishing ten books in English and Farsi languages, including “Iran Under Influence of Islamic Government and World Politics” plus numerous articles, often introducing humanistic points of views and unique or visionary perspectives on topics of social psychology and practical political philosophy, fitting the needs and demands of life in the 21st century.
• Twice speaker at the World Affairs Council, in California.
• Producing and broadcasting numerous weekly TV and Radio programs for the Iranian community of Los Angeles on psychosocial-related topics and life-adjustment.
• Presenting a societal thesis on the creation of a Trial City_ Ideal Society (FB Page; Humanism Applied, a political theory), later expanded into a book titled: Man-Ruling Society, also a short movie titled: Fruits of Life (Writer’s YouTube Channel).
• A Societal Thesis: suggesting and describing in her book Man-Ruling Society, details of new structures for family, education, economy and governing systems, under which she claims, most of the existing social problems such as poverty and violence also the potential for the growth of subversive characters, will be diminished or loose color significantly in the society.
• The Societal Thesis and the book Man -Ruling Society, had been presented by Dr. Moslehi herself, as a semester class (A Model for Ideal Society in the 21st. Century) in the University of California, Extension- Riverside.
• Held a teaching position and taught topics of Social Psychology, also, introduction to Psychology, at Azad University in Tehran, Iran.
• In regard to the 21st century, Dr. Shahnaz Moslehi believes maintaining strength, clear identity and good mental health would be a necessity also a challenge for the people of the 21st century. Therefore, most of her recent writings and professional practices reflect those objectives.

Trial City In Gaza, Israel, Iran, US, Europe, or... etc.?
While the qualification and process of selecting trial city residents have been described extensively in my book, one new option to be considered is, if GAZA being chosen as the location for Proposed Trial City. Selecting certain number of Palestinian young children with acceptable level of physical and mental health, along with other selected children from around the globe, as the children inhabitants of the city… Also giving priority to some young college students in who like to volunteer to participate in the trial city project, by choosing the role of parents accordingly and as a portion of their yearly productivity contribution commitment (please see my FB pages of: Ideal Society, and Humanism Applied. A brief overview on what has been described in the book Man-Ruling Society)

PS to three lost common sences:
** The Trial City project is to promote the creation or facilitation of such structures of family, education, economy and governing, which combined, allow and facilitate personal choices to all individuals, for creating their own kind of productive and participatory life.
** The existing governmental helping services and financial assistance such as Medicaid, food stamps, affordable housing, and even the plan for universal income, while are needed and necessary for many people around the world, are just a temporary bandage and the wrong choice of solution to rely on.

Three Lost-Common Sences
1. Every individual has inborn desire or even need, to create, produce, participate, and be effective..
2. Evryone has some level and sort of useful capability or talent, to benefit the society..
3. Everyone has the inborn right to live joyfully..
** This writer believes, it's the responsibility of all governing systems, to facilitate as much as possible, the path toward the humanistic objective of: "joy of life for all", by creating such suitable societal structures and sub-systems, matching that historical highly desired objective.
**Here is a stepping stone toward such humanistic and necessary aspiration:
The proposed project of creating a "Trial City" to examine in practice and for the first time in history, the validity and possibility of "Accessible Ideal Society". In such Trial City, the primitive notion of financial insecurity, works for the most part and in majority of people, not as a motivation, but instead, as a distraction and obstacle to produce, create, and participate effectively within the society.
** The removal of such obstacle, along with certain clearly defined combined systems of family, education, economy and governing (Describe in detail in the book Man-Ruling Society, 2006, by Dr. Shahnaz Moslehi), while guarantees a lively financial growth and prosperity for the society as a whole, allows all members of the society many personal choices, as how to use their in-born potential, creativity and interest, towards targeted desired progress of the society and benefiting the well-being of All. Having meaningful and productive choices of life-styles, matching the needs and aspirations of people of the 21st century.
