A quick simple activity with everyday materials to build fine motor skills. Also think of the wonderful patterns you can make with apple Jack's as well. Enjoy!
Fine motor skills are super important for toddlers and this very simple threading cheerios on spaghetti activity will not disappoint.

Many families who may be eligible for subsidized child care don't know it's available to them, and free seats in 3-K and Universal Pre-Kindergarten programs go unfilled because they may not fit families’ multiple needs. These are missed opportunities for families and also put the programs at risk for future funding.
In response, CCC has launched a multi-lingual survey (available in English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin) for parents and caregivers of young children to help develop solutions that fit their family’s needs. These solutions will then go directly to New York City officials and City Council so they can fund child care and early education programs that fit these diverse needs. Check out the flyer attached to take the survey (if you're a parent/caregiver with a young child) or share with your community for others. You can also visit our website for the flyers in Spanish, French, and Mandarin.

By Janet Lansbury: Children need to know that their discipline “teachers” are calm, unruffled, and understanding, not thrown or upset by their behavior. And that is the way that I have come to understand misbehavior. It is not intentionally bad, mean, or a way to upset parents. It is a request for help.
"Help me, I’m tired. Help me, I'm getting hungry. Help me stop hitting my friends. Help me stop annoying or angering you… better yet, stop me before I do those things. Help me by remaining calm so I sense how capable you are at taking care of me. Help me by empathizing, so that I know you understand and still love me. Help me so that I can let go of these urges and distractions and be playful, joyful, and free again."
Common Toddler Discipline Mistakes - Janet Lansbury
Disclaimer: In the diverse and sometimes divisive world of parenting advice, one parent’s mistake is another’s best practice. So, for clarification, the way I define ‘mistake’ reflects the parenting goals I personally aspire to and is based on my experiences working with parents and toddlers...
