At ADAPT, our nurses are essential to the success and wellbeing of our people supported. Today, on International Nurses Day, we celebrate all our incredible nurses across ADAPT!
We are especially proud to recognize Latoya Green, who has been a part of the ADAPT family for over three years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Latoya recently completed her Bachelors in Nursing, and through her exemplary leadership, eagerness to learn, and deep compassion, Latoya has earned a well-deserved promotion to Registered Nurse at ADAPT’s Waterside program.
Over the years, Latoya has built strong, trusted relationships with our people supported, our Primary Care Doctor, management, and staff. Her compassion, leadership, and commitment to the people we support make her an invaluable part of ADAPT.
Happy International Nurses Day! ❤️️

New Yorkers with I/DD deserve access to stable, high-quality services, and the workforce that supports them deserves the resources needed to sustain their work.
As we enter the final stages of New York budget decisions, lawmakers have a crucial opportunity to strengthen the care system and build on the progress made from investments over the past few years.
A full 4% TII would help providers address rising costs, retain staff, and deliver uninterrupted services and care across New York State.
