Indonesia 🇮🇩 strongly condemns the heinous attacks against the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) on 29 and 30 March 2026, which resulted in the loss of our brave Indonesian peacekeepers and left others injured.

In light of these attacks, Ambassador Umar Hadi 🇮🇩met today (30/3) with the UN Secretary-General and the Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations to demand immediate, thorough and transparent investigation and a reaffirmation of the principles that guarantee the safety and security of all UN peacekeeping personnel.

Indonesia honors the ultimate sacrifice made by our Blue Helmets.

Their bravery serves as a testament to Indonesia’s unwavering commitment to global peace and security 🕊️

At the informal consultation to discuss the roadmap towards the Global Dialogue on AI Governance (13/01), Indonesia 🇮🇩 emphasized that AI governance should continue to serve development, inclusion, and shared prosperity.

Indonesia 🇮🇩 highlighted key priorities to achieving the goals:
✅ AI governance must remain development-oriented and responsive to closing digital divides
✅ capacity-building must be the core pillar of the Global Dialogue to ensure active contributions by all
✅ the Global Dialogue must be inclusive by design in terms of participation as well as linguistically and culturally diverse

Indonesia 🇮🇩 menegaskan kembali komitmen untuk terus memajukan perjuangan rakyat Palestina 🇵🇸dan mendesak masyarakat internasional untuk mendorong penyelesaian akar masalah serta realisasi solusi dua negara.

Sobat PTRI, hari ini (10/11) Indonesia 🇮🇩 dan Filipina 🇵🇭 ajukan ke 🇺🇳 resolusi tentang perlindungan pekerja migran perempuan dari segala bentuk kekerasan.

Resolusi disetujui secara konsensus, dengan dukungan khusus 46 negara sebagai Ko-Sponsor.

Pekerja migran perempuan telah berkontribusi ke upaya negara untuk pembangunan dan bangkit dari kemiskinan.
