Due to the continuing inclement weather, courthouses in New York City and Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Sullivan, Ulster, Green and Columbia Counties will be closed on Monday, February 23, 2026 – except for emergency applications. Criminal Court arraignment parts will open at 2 pm on February 23 within the five boroughs of New York City only. Employees that work in NYC and Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Sullivan, Ulster, Green and Columbia Counties will be excused from work on Monday, February 23, 2026, except for those employees directed by their supervisors to report. Family Court emergency applications will be heard in Criminal Court. For Emergency applications in Supreme Court civil cases, call: (800) 430-8457, or email: [email protected]. Jurors should not report. The First and Second Department Appellate Divisions are closed on February 23 and for additional information on oral arguments please visit their web page.
