Third Year Apprentice Trip to Las Vegas 🇺🇸🔨
Our Third Year Apprentices traveled to Las Vegas for an experience that goes far beyond the classroom. Throughout the trip, they had the opportunity to learn more about the history, values, and strength of our union while connecting with fellow union members from across the country.
Experiences like these help shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople by reinforcing the importance of solidarity, leadership, and the opportunities that come with being union members.
A special thank you to Marlon, who served as the point person for the trip and helped ensure our apprentices had a meaningful and memorable experience.
Proud of our apprentices for representing the New York City Carpenters Training Center with professionalism and pride.

At the NYC Carpenters Training Center, our instructors and mentors shape the next generation of union carpenters with dedication, patience, and pride. Their impact goes far beyond the classroom and jobsite.
Happy National Teacher Appreciation Day 2026 to the incredible people who make our training center stronger every day.
A few of our instructors aren’t in this collage, but their impact is just as strong.

And that concludes National Apprenticeship Week!
It’s more than a job, it’s a brotherhood, a sisterhood, and a family.
Our annual softball tournament is a reminder that the strength of our union isn’t just built on job sites, but in the connections we make off the clock. From apprentices to seasoned members, this is what solidarity looks like: Showing up, supporting each other, and celebrating together.

Our NYC apprentices and journeymen don’t just train locally, they also have access to the International Training Center (ITC) in Las Vegas, a state-of-the-art facility built by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC).
There, they sharpen their leadership skills and gain hands-on experience with advanced equipment and specialized training you won’t find just anywhere: mass timber, dive tank, confined space, solar installation, gas and steam turbines, and more!
It’s all part of building a workforce that’s skilled, adaptable, and ready for anything the job demands.
