As a student, Asha shares, “I envision myself in a leadership role within a healthcare organization. Managing a department or clinic, using my skills to optimize operations and ensure quality care. The healthcare
landscape is ever-changing. I want to be at the forefront, embracing new technologies and streamlining processes to improve efficiency and patient experience. Patient experience and advocacy are very important areas of interest, and I plan to pursue future academic and
professional development opportunities in order to become an agent of change.”

We are honored to have had CCTOP Scholar alumni, Elena Aiduk and Saleh Alzokari, share their stories at the CCTOP Graduation Ceremony.

Elena, ‘24, describes: “[CCTOP] is a truly special program, the only one of its kind I have ever heard of. Saleh shares: “An advisor at introduced me to the Community College Transfer Opportunity Program (CCTOP) at NYU, which opened this door. This program didn’t just offer financial assistance; it became a beacon of growth for me, both academically and personally. CCTOP was more than just a bridge to ; it was the doorway to a community where I could share my story, gain insights from others, and build strong connections.”
