It’s almost here! Evergreen’s Annual Celebration 2026 is next week, Wednesday, May 27! We are thrilled to be honoring the long-time business and food institution, , with our Community Leader of the Year Award. Wonton Food’s incredible dedication to urban and its employees truly deserves this recognition. They started in 1973 in Chinatown as a family-run business and are now the largest U.S. manufacturer of noodles, wrappers, and fortune cookies. It’s important to highlight the role a strong manufacturing sector plays in creating good-paying jobs that help New York become a truly affordable city.
