If your organization works with young people in NYC who are impacted system, Youth Represent might be a great partner for you.

Youth Represent partners with community-based organizations across all five boroughs to bring free legal services directly into the neighborhoods where young people live. Our interdisciplinary team — attorneys, social workers, and paralegals — works together on criminal defense, employment rights, post-conviction relief, record review, name and gender marker changes, and more. We also offer Know Your Rights workshops and staff trainings for frontline workers who support court-involved youth every day.

Congratulations to the Elevated Minds class of 2026. 🌱

Elevated Minds is Youth Represent's youth development program for system-impacted young people ages 14 to 25. Over 12 weeks, participants work through the things that actually shape a young person's life: how to handle anger, navigate peer pressure, make decisions under pressure, and build a sense of direction that belongs to them -- not to the circumstances they were handed.

We are so proud of every single one of them and of Youth Development Coordinator Gregory Ellis, who leads the workshop.
