As a chapter member of the College Democrats of America, we, the St. John's University College Democrats, are dedicated to the promotion of the Democratic Party as well as the values of democracy.
The actions taken by CDA National President Natasha McKenzie have fallen short of these values and therefore, we request for the resignation of President Natasha McKenzie as to uphold the integrity of CDA. We echo the sentiments already expressed by the University at Albany College Democrats in saying that we are committed to transparency and accountability in CDA. As young Democrats, our values of unity and integrity are our greatest beacon of pride and should therefore transfer throughout all leadership levels. We have full confidence in National Vice President Marvin McMoore to be an effective leader who will hold true to the Democratic mission.
