It is student-led group that build women's political power on college campuses, via access to dynamic women leaders, open discussions of relevant policy issues, civic leadership and job opportunities. We contribute to the IGNITE national movement by training college women right now.

PANELIST SPOTLIGHT🗽: Mariel De La Cruz

Mariel is currently the Borough Director for the NYC Comptroller and has worked in the office of NYC Comptroller for more than 2 years, mostly covering the South Bronx. She is Dominican American and Native New Yorker and studied political science with a minor in Urban Studies and Business at Fordham College .

Mariel also served as a housing organizer for CASA and Tenants and Neighbors and for 2 years she was a Jesuit Volunteer in Detroit and Atlanta respectively.

PANELIST SPOTLIGHT🗽: Isatou Bittaye-Jobe

Isatou graduated from the University of The Gambia earned her BSc in Political Science and master’s in International Studies from National Chengchi University in Taiwan. She is a human rights advocate and feminist and is very passionate about advancing women and girls’ sexual and reproductive rights.

She is a 2015 Women Deliver Young Leader and also serves as the Communications Manager of The Girls’ Agenda. The Girls’ Agenda is a youth led organization working for the empowerment of young women and girls and advocating to end FGM, child marriage, and helping promote sexual and reproductive health rights, life skills and leadership, and girl’s access to education.

Isabel Arias is a senior finance major and the President of Baruch’s Undergraduate Student Government (USG).
She is also the captain of the tennis team at Baruch and represents her community by being a part of the Latin American Student Association (LASO). Most recently, she served as a marketing operations intern at Facebook. Who said we can't do it all?
