The Boys & Girls Club of Harlem, with the support of Carver Federal Savings Bank, NYC Young Men's Initiative , Nyu Urban Farm Lab , and Revolution Foods turned their protest into action by learning how they can affect positive change in the Harlem community.
Over the summer, they have taken a deep dive into issues related to food access in the Harlem community. This has included distributing fresh produce to over 100 households.
Tomorrow our youth will host a virtual town hall where they would like for key stakeholders, such as yourself, to hear what they have learned as well as give voice to their concerns and how they plan to respond to these issues.

Congratulations to Publisher Pat Stevenson of Harlem Community Newspapers for Twenty-Five Years of Publishing Community Newspapers!
"Through it all, I am grateful that I am still here to celebrate 25 years publishing four newspapers with the same joy and enthusiasm as when it all began. God willing, as we move ahead together into new beginnings, I look forward to what I believe will be the advancements in our community due to the lights shown on the inequities during the Black Lives Matter protests.
There will always be room for 'good news you can use.' Thank you for the 25!"
