In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the United States Marine Corps is reviewing and adjusting its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. Poolee Nelson decided to become a Marine so he could travel the world, start getting hands on experience in Accounting and Finance (his current interest), and also start to develop his independence.

Today we would like to congratulate Private First Class Djangmah who graduated from the Naval Air Technical Training Center. He is officially certified as a 6326 Aircraft Avionics Technician.


While attending his Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) School he served as the guide. He received a Letter of Appreciation from his Training Officer for his exemplary performance of his duties. We look forward to seeing what this hard charger accomplishes next.

Excited to welcome back Private Lardou from Parris Island where he earned the title of United States Marine. Private Lardou Graduated from Urban Assembly New York Harbor School and had the privilege to come back and visit the community and staff that played a pivotal role in his journey to becoming a Marine.


He had the opportunity to express his gratitude to the phenomenal mentor’s that he had in his life, and was also able to inspire some of the current students.
