Those of us who attended this evenings National Night Out Against Crime event were reminded that the future of Hell’s Kitchen is bright.

🚨WANTED for R**E: On 6/13/24 at 3:30 PM, inside of Kissena Park in the vicinity of Colden St & Kalmia Ave, a male displayed a knife & forced a 13-year-male & 13-year-old female into a wooded area. He then proceeded to forcibly removed the cellphones of both victims & sexually assaulted the 13-year-old female before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The individual sought is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 5’ 5” in his 20s, with curly hair, last seen wearing red sneakers and carrying a green backpack. He appeared to have dental braces on his teeth and had a tattoo of a boar or a bull with red eyes on his chest. Anyone with info, DM or call NYPD Crimestoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477).

As we gathered on Long Island, honoring the life & service of Officer Jonathan Diller, One Times Square, New Tradition, & the Times Square Alliance recognized our fallen officer, & now Detective First Grade, in the heart of NYC, by memorializing him on their digital billboard.

We lost one of our sons tonight, and I am heartbroken for his wife, family, and all New Yorkers.

Officer Jonathan Diller was just doing his job in Queens, working to keep his fellow New Yorkers safe, and a senseless act of violence took his life — a senseless act carried out by a dangerous individual with a gun and a total disregard for our people in uniform.

Let us come together in this devastating moment and pray for his family and our fellow officers.

Last night we were once again addressing community/business complaints in the Theatre District regarding illegal pedicabs. In total, 26 were confiscated and 27 summonses were issued.
