This is a moment of outrage.

Yesterday, Politico published a leaked draft Supreme Court majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Womenโ€™s Health Organization that explicitly overturns Roe v. Wade. This draft opinion was just that - a draft. Abortion is still legal today. People have appointments and are getting care today.

New York must remain an access state for abortion. This is possible when all people have access to safe, affordable abortion care, and all forms of reproductive care no matter their needs or their gender.

We are thrilled to return to IRL events and have an exciting evening planned. After learning about extraordinary women running for office across NYC, we invited a group of progressive women to share more with us about their campaigns.

You can submit questions you'd like asked through the RSVP link in bio.

The forum will be hosted at Capsule Studio NYC a woman-led, Asian American, LGBTQ business. We'll begin at 6 pm with networking over refreshments then kick off our forum with a special guest Assemblywoman Amanda Septimo. Below is a list of the candidates participating. Voting members (who have volunteered 10 or more hours in the previous cycle) will vote on the endorsement slate after the forum.

Our Executive Director was recognized by Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson for her work on behalf of women in the Bronx. This is what she had to say about this incredible honor:

Thank you to Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson & Deputy Bronx Borough President Janet Peguero for hosting such a beautiful and inspirational celebration for Women's History Month! Both and have shattered the glass ceiling and made history themselves, so to have them acknowledge the work we've done at Amplify Her truly means the world!

I'm beyond grateful to my sisters for always going above and beyond to realize our mission of ensuring women's voices are heard! ๐Ÿ“ฃ

Having two of the extraordinary women Amplify Her has supported in the Bronx at the event made it very special. Iโ€™m so proud of dear friends Assemblywoman Amanda Septimo & Council Member Marjorie Velรกzquez! ๐Ÿ’• &
