Due to the passing of John Howe and James Fischer's extensive travel, NYC Beekeeping has not been active for some time.
But fear not! The NY Bee Club had formed to fill all of your bee community needs! James joined, and John would have joined, except for the long commute.

The New York Bee Club is dedicated to promoting the art and science of beekeeping, advocating for beekeepers, fostering environmental stewardship, and educating the community about the importance of bees and other pollinators.

John Howe was an intrepid beekeeper in NYC and founder of the New York City Beekeeping. John was even the basis for Fred, the main character in a kids' picture book "The Honeybee Man, by Lela Nargi
The Honeybee Man.
His memorial will be held at The Church of Saint Luke in the Fields on Hudson street, Manhattan.
It will be held on April the 25th at 2pm. Please join us.
