June wraps up this season’s CB14 meetings ☀️

This month includes a public hearing on the rezoning application for 1455 Coney Island Avenue and a Housing & Land Use Committee meeting, the June Board Meeting, and a Transition Committee meeting.

Meetings will resume in September. Upcoming dates will be announced on our website and through our newsletter.

May meetings are on the calendar 📅

Update: Our Youth Services committee meeting will now take place to May 21.

This month includes a public hearing on a DHS shelter planned for 1024 Flatbush Ave. this evening, the the May Board Meeting and Transportation committee meeting next week, plus Youth Services on the 21, and Executive Committee on the 28. Learn more at cb14brooklyn.com/meetings

🎬 This month, CB14 will host a free screening of Emergent City, a documentary exploring the debate over the redevelopment of Industry City and the broader development, gentrification, and land use issues it raises for communities citywide. RSVP is required (link in bio).

April meetings include the Monthly Board Meeting, Human Services Committee, and Community Safety Committee. All meetings are open to the public.

The evening begins with two Public Hearings on retail cannabis dispensary applications at 1056 Flatbush Avenue and 1713 Church Avenue, followed by the Regular Monthly Meeting.
