Support changes lives 🌈
Donations from loving, caring activists help us provide community and resources to LGBTQ+ elders through our programs like SAGEServes, SAGEYou, and SAGECare. Through this support, SAGE is building a national safety net across the country so every single LGBTQ+ elder can thrive as they age.
We are so grateful to be a beneficiary of the Elton John Impact Awards, which is an excellent example of how critical funding and visibility can help safeguard the missions of organizations like ours. Thank you to Procter & Gamble, Elton John AIDS Foundation, and the Looking Out Foundation for your generous support!
🎙️Tune in on June 1 to iHeartRadio (or wherever you get your podcasts) to the Elton John Impact Awards!

🚨 ADVOCACY ALERT 🚨
Over $1 trillion in cuts to healthcare have been enacted—with the most severe impacts delayed until later this year. These decisions will have real consequences for our community, and we cannot afford to stay silent.
That’s why SAGE joined Seven Days in June: HEALTH IS PRIMARY, a nationwide, nonpartisan mobilization (June 1–7) to raise awareness and bring greater transparency to how these cuts are affecting people across the country.
📆Join us for a national webinar on Thursday, June | 2 to 3 PM EST
Hear from experts from: AARP, The AIDS Institute, Families USA, and Center for Medicare Advocacy.
Health is not just a budget line—it’s our survival.

"Hope will never be silent."
Today we honor Harvey Milk, a trailblazer for our community who was taken far before his time. Harvey shattered closet doors wherever he went, rallying LGBTQ+ people everywhere to be proud, demand to be counted, and fight for our rights with love and resilience. Thank you for everything, Harvey.

As a beneficiary organization of the Elton John Impact Awards, SAGE, is able to continue providing community and resources to LGBTQ+ elders.
This program goes beyond celebration, providing critical funding and visibility to organizations like ours, helping expand life-affirming programs and reach more people who need support.
We’re excited to celebrate the trailblazers being recognized for shaping culture through their sustained impact on the LGBTQ+ community, like Jonathan Bailey. Jonathan supports our work via The Shameless Fund and also artfully represented the experiences of today's LGBTQ+ elders in the television series Fellow Travelers.
Don’t forget to tune in starting June 1 on iHeartRadio or wherever you get your podcasts to hear powerful stories from this year’s incredible honorees, as well as an exclusive interview with our Chief Development & Communications Officer, JB Stark, on how this grant support helps drive our work and expands our impact!
We are all aging, and we are all somebody’s elder ❤️
In honor of Older Americans Month, let's focus on changing how we talk and think about aging. Federal and state aging policies and protection affect all of us, no matter your age. We can create a better future for every LGBTQ+ person together!
