Maysles Education is the award-winning production and learning hub of the Maysles Documentary Center, a Harlem-based non-profit organization.

Maysles Education offers comprehensive, year-round documentary educational programming for people of all ages throughout the Harlem, Northern Manhattan and South Bronx communities. Maysles Documentary Center invites you to share your distinct perspective in our third youth-run film showcase. You are the future faces of this country, and we want to bring light to your stories of underrepresented communities through documentary filmmaking. This includes topics such as education, racism, injustice, COVID-19, and self-discovery.

The films must be documentaries only, limited to 15 minutes maximum, and all filmmakers must be between the ages of 14 to 24. Submission deadline is January 15th, 2021.

We look forward to reviewing your films!
