On Thursday, May 2, 2013, the Jamel Robinson Child Welfare Reform Initiative (JRWCRI) launched the We Deserve Love Too PSA Campaign in Manhattan, union Square.

In its second year, We Deserve Love, Too! is the first youth-led campaign of its kind in New York, designed to draw attention to the high number of teens in foster care and their need for permanent, loving homes that can provide stability, a sense of belonging, the support necessary to grow into healthy, productive adults, and HOPE!

Theme: Our future is boundless with the right influence.

On Thursday, May 8, 2014, the Jamel Robinson Child Welfare Reform Initiative (JRCWRI) hosted its Second Annual We Deserve Love Too! Foster Care Awareness Rally in Manhattan, Union Square.

In its second year, We Deserve Love, Too! is the first youth-led campaign of its kind in New York, designed to draw attention to the high number of teens in foster care and their need for permanent, loving homes that can provide stability, a sense of belonging, the support necessary to grow into healthy, productive adults, and HOPE!

To commemorate this occasion the JRCWRI brought together a diverse number of it's city's youth, foster care agencies, political and business leaders.

NYC foster youth gearing up for Thursday's launch of the historic We Deserve Love Too Campaign! Look at these champions working hard so hard for their big day! !

Look at these amazing young adults with gifts, talents, and abilities waiting to share with a family that is willing to provide them with stability they need and deserve!

From all facets of life, with a story to tell, these young people are resilient, brilliant, and most of all special! World allow me to introduce to you the next generation of Doctors, Lawyers, CEO's, and successful servant leaders that will make us all proud!
