Had a very nice presentation at CUNY Baruch College for the Bio-Med Society on Thursday. Dr. Adam Bender of Mount Sinai and I spoke to the college students and faculty members about Myasthenia Gravis and our alliance to spread the awareness. Thank you for those who attended.

I'm looking for someone to help me do a fund raiser, ask your local PTA, yoga, aerobic, or zumba school if they would like to raise money and awareness for our cause. Just one class, charging a minimal 20.00 donation can go towards MG.
Or have a fund raiser with Avon, Lia Sophia Jewelry, Tupperware, Magic Chef.
Please help, I would be on hand to exercise, or to answer questions at the function.

I received a call from a lady in Tennessee, who was misdiagnosed for years. Can hardly walk, but I know with the right medication and a good doctor, she could feel much better. We spoke for a while and now she knows, "It wasn't in her head."
What is it with some doctors, even her eye doctor couldn't detect MG; though her eyelid was closed. Please help spread the word. A fund raiser, walk, Tupperware Party, anything would help.
Remember, June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month.

As a non profit 501(c)(3), I ask to help us keep our doors open, we provide a NYC support group and a Kingston NY group, doctor referrals, information on prescription plans with various pharmaceutical companies, information packets, a video library on our website www.MGdirect.org. Let this be the year we raise extra money to send to research. We need to find a CURE.
