As the weekend comes to an end, we enter the last two weeks of classes and now is the time to put your best foot forward for your finals and projects.

As challenging as things may seem, and as tempting as this weather might be, I'd just like to remind all my fellow scholars/volunteers to not give up!

Reminder to all that our meetings are on Wednesdays from 2-4 PM, in the Murray Building (room M1116).

This semester is shaping up to be a great one thus far! We are open to all that are interested in giving back and are always in need of more volunteers. If you have a friend who you believe can make difference, tell them to come on down to our meeting and join the Lions Club International!

Lions day at the United Nations was a great success!

Thank you to all the lions that came out and volunteered. It was a pleasure to have you all and I hope you enjoyed meeting delegates from all over the world!

Now it is time to move forward with our current projects and initiatives.

Update:

The month of November is now over, which means that our Canned Food Drive has come to an end -- and what a successful drive it was. In one month our TriBeCa/BMCC community donated a tremendous amount of cans. I'd like to thank all of those that donated a can or helped out in some shape or form!

While one project comes to an end, another one is just beginning: For the remainder of the semester, Lion Emma and Lion Ashlina will be spearheading the Clothes drive and Toys drive, respectively. So if you have any toys or clothing you no longer use, we will gladly receive them and give them to those in need.

We wish you all a great December and look forward to seeing you all around campus!
