🔬 Planning to apply for the NIH Research Evaluation and Commercialization Hubs (REACH) program?

New York State is looking to support competitive, New York-led applications that advance biomedical innovation, research commercialization, and economic growth.

Institutions interested in State support should review the NYS Statement of Principles and submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) by October 23, 2026.

Through this process, ESD will help identify potential partners, connect applicants with State resources, and explore opportunities to strengthen proposals ahead of the NIH deadline.

🏙️ A new chapter is beginning for Rochester’s West Main Street Corridor!

The $10 million West Main Gateway Project is moving forward, bringing new investment to a historic corridor through building renovations, small business assistance and public space improvements.

Supported by $5 million from New York State and $5 million from the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation, this project builds on Governor Kathy Hochul’s commitment to revitalizing communities and creating new economic opportunities.

⚙️ A $375 million investment is bringing new advanced manufacturing opportunities to Rochester!

Phoenix Tailings plans to establish a rare earth mineral separation facility at Eastman Business Park, creating at least 90 jobs and strengthening domestic supply chains for materials used in electronics and defense technologies.

With up to $3 million in ESD support, this project advances Governor Hochul’s efforts to attract innovative industries and position New York as a leader in next-generation manufacturing.

Governor Kathy Hochul announced nominations are OPEN for the New York State Craft Beverage Retailer Awards, recognizing retailers that go above and beyond to showcase locally made b**r, w**e, c***r, mead and spirits.

These businesses support local farmers, strengthen regional economies and help grow an industry supporting more than 20,000 jobs statewide.

🏆 Up to three winners will be recognized in each of five categories!

Governor Hochul today announced the launch of nominations for the New York State Craft Beverage Retailer Awards, designed to recognize merchants who help customers discover and enjoy craft beverages made in New York with locally grown ingredients.

🏗️ $76 million is now available through Round 3 of New York State’s County Infrastructure Grant Program!

With increased award limits of up to $1.5 million, this funding will help counties advance critical infrastructure projects that support new housing, boost tourism and drive economic growth.

Under Governor Hochul’s leadership, the program has already awarded more than $74 million to nearly 100 projects, supporting nearly 6,000 new homes statewide.
