This weekend our PS 51 Minecraft Club’s team, The Block Headz, competed in the semi-finals of the Battle of the Boroughs Minecraft Education Challenge! They planned, built, and presented an inclusive park which included a wheelchair accessible rollercoaster 🎢 , a colorful sensory wall 🌈, a dog park🦮, a bouncy house, and a light and music sensory station 🎶. Everything was designed for everyone to enjoy.

We’re so proud of our team! Ask Ms O’Brien how your 4th and 5th graders can participate next year!

You may have noticed a glow up on our PS 51 campus. It’s all thanks to the families who donated their time and money to the PTA’s Beautification Project this past weekend. A special thanks to Dylan and Eunice from the neighborhood who donated their time and expertise! And we couldn’t have done it without a generous soil donation from McEnroe Farms!
