Popular Assemblyman Steven Raga is conducting a high-profile campaign as a candidate for the New York State Senate. He is an Asian-American Democratic politician. Since the early days of his political journey in Queens, New York, he has received support from Bangladeshi-American political figure Dr. Abu Zafar Mahmood. Following the announcement of his State Senate candidacy, the organization People United for Progress (People UP) has also expressed its support for him.
