New York City Soil & Water Conservation District assists New Yorkers in making wise use of the City's soil, water and related natural resources.

Our current programs

SUSTAINABLE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
We work with community and citywide organizations to affect policy change as well as implement green infrastructure projects on private properties. ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
We organize an annual environmental competition, the NYC Envirothon, for high school students. We also host the NYC Outdoors Environmental Education Expo for teachers and educators.
