Colel Chabad joins the community in mourning the passing of Fortunee Mosseri Mazal bat Sarah ע״ה

Through her generosity and vision, the Nona Fortunee Kitchen in Ashdod was established. Every day, hundreds of Israelis receive hot, nourishing meals there—an enduring testament to her compassion and commitment to caring for others.

As seen in this moving tribute her legacy continues.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Mosseri, Savdie, and Salama families.
May the kindness and light she brought into the world continue to inspire all of us.

After many delays, finnaly opening the V'zot HaBracha Daycare Center in Har Choma, Jerusalem

A remarkable historical document, a handwritten note by the Rebbe, listing the names of his immediate family members to be included in prayer on Hoshana Rabba 5703 (1942–43) at the Chevras Tehillim by Kever Dovid.

Without wasting a moment, Colel Chabad’s staff and volunteers went straight into action delivering sets of Lulav and Esrog to the homes of our widows, each according to their family custom.

To ensure every widow receives her set in time, our teams are working through the night, when the streets are quieter, so each home is ready for the Chag.

Liraz, one of the Rebbe’s devoted shluchim in Yerushalayim, serves Chabad on Campus, directs Get Chesed, and is deeply active in supporting IDF soldiers.

While serving as a reserve officer, he was seriously injured in an explosion near an IDF outpost in southern Syria.

Let’s unite in prayer for his complete and speedy recovery. Every tefillah makes a difference.

הי, זה לרר. אני לא מבקש את זה הרבה אבל חושב שצריך להרים ליהודי היקר הזה מייקל רנר ולמשפחתו. שנתיים לקח לי לשכנע אותו להצטלם או שבכלל נזכיר את שמו. חפשו בגוגל, בקושי תמצאו אותו. אם הייתם יודעים את כל מה שהוא עשה למען העם הזה, בעיקר אחרי השבעה באוקטובר, הייתם מסתובבים עם צמרמורת קבועה. אבל אסור לי לספר כי הוא הכי מתן בסתר - רואים בעיניים, לא? אז אספר רק את מה שאפשר: זה האיש שבזכותו קם הרעיון המשוגע הזה שנקרא סופר הצינור שבזכותו 30 אלף(!) לקוחות בחודש מצליחים למלא עגלה בלי להרגיש שדודים ומושפלים. ועדיין, כשאני נכנס אתו לסופר ומגיע מישהו להודות לי אישית, אני מסובב את האצבע אליו, לאמור: הוא אחראי האמיתי. אבל רנר בתגובה מסמן ׳לא׳ עם היד במבט מבוהל ונמלט מחוץ לדלת. וואלה, ככה צנוע. כן. זה האיש שנדלק על הקונספט של סופר חברתי מהיום הראשון ונתן לנו ולאחינו באשל חב״ד את מעטפת הביטחון כדי להצליח. בזכותו, אני לא חושש מעדת הזאבים הרעים שמשחרת לפתחנו במטרה להפיל אותנו. בלי המעטפת הזו, הייתי עוד ג׳וק שהרשתות יכולות לרמוס בשניה. הן עדיין ינסו להכחיד אותנו, כן? אבל יהיה להן הרבה יותר קשה. אז תנו כבוד ואהבה, תאמינו לי שהכי מגיע בעולם למשפחה היפה הזו

Shalom from Yerushalayim!

This morning, I had the privilege of witnessing something truly extraordinary. Three siblings Debbie, Michelle, and Daniel, the children of Moshe and Lina Mondlak chose to honor their parents in the most meaningful way. They dedicated a brand-new Mondlak Center - a mental health center in Efrat, serving the entire Gush Etzion area.

Today, they brought their parents without revealing the destination and surprised them with the dedication ceremony.

Although the center has been open for a few months due to urgent needs, this morning was the official moment of dedication. It was deeply emotional to see families who have already benefited come and share their stories.

For me, it’s an incredible honor to be part of facilitating such a special gift for longtime friends and supporters of Colel Chabad, and to see three generations together celebrating this milestone.

Wishing you all a wonderful Shabbos, and may we all merit the real double Nechama here in Yerushalayim. Shabbat Shalom!
