In loving memory of my beautiful mother, we dropped off lunch for the ER staff at Ascension St. Vincent for Nurses Week & Mother’s Day.

Thirteen years ago today, Project Hope NY delivered our very first donation to the children in the pediatric unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This milestone marks over a decade of bringing comfort, a journey that began from a deeply personal experience.

The creation of Project Hope NY was rooted in a challenging period in my life, witnessing firsthand the profound impact of small acts of kindness during my mother's extended hospitalization following a brain aneurysm in 2012. Her resilience and the compassion we received during that difficult time inspired the very foundation of Project Hope NY a year later. She passed away almost seven years ago, but her selfless spirit and boundless care continue to fuel my dedication to helping others – a mission I proudly carry forward in her memory.

We are incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with countless generous, kindhearted individuals and formed lasting friendships over the years. Project Hope NY's achievements are a testament to their unwavering support, and for that, we are eternally grateful. This work, though demanding, is profoundly fulfilling; it is truly my heart's calling to serve our community.

Here's to the journey ahead and many more years of "Helping Hands, Helping Hearts."

Make-A-Wish traces its inspiration to Christopher James Greicius, a 7-year-old boy battling leukemia who wished to be a police officer. In 1980, his Phoenix community came together to make his wish come true. Little did Chris know that his wish would create a movement that would transform millions of lives.

Today, Make-A-Wish celebrates 46 years of granting hundreds of thousands of life-changing wishes to children battling critical illnesses. Wishes that give families hope through dark times, strength to persevere, and experiences that forever change their lives.

This morning, we dropped off cookies, cupcakes, chocolates, and Starbucks gift cards for the ER staff at Ascension St. Vincent to show our appreciation for all they do for the community.

Last Friday, we met with Andy Harner from Riley Children's Health, to donate 50 LEGO sets for the kids who are currently receiving treatment at the hospital this Easter.

This morning, we met w/ Karin Ogden from Ronald McDonald House to drop off gift bags for the kids staying at their facility for Easter.

This morning, we met with Rabbi Dovid Grossbaum from the Chabad Center for Jewish Life - Lubavitch of Indiana to make a donation of $1K for Passover.

Chabad of Indiana is a non-profit organization that aims to heighten an awareness, appreciation, and observance of Judaism through community service.
