There are lots of Christmas pictures and events we want to post but today we make just one post. We ask all of our families and friends to take some time today to remember the children, teachers and families of Sandy-hook. They were so young, so little and so innocent.

Student from Grades K-8 gathered in our Peace Garden which is dedicated to the victims of 9/11, to the heroes who gave and risked their lives and to the hope that we can always find peace in our lives and bring peace to the world around us. A short prayer service and moment of silence gave tribute to this day of remembrance.
Alumni Reunion

REUNION BRUNCH
Details will be released this week but Sunday, October 27th will see our First Annual Alumni Brunch at Saint Elizabeth Church and School. Facebook postings and emails will be sent this week. We hope that alumni can help spread the news for this wonderful event!
Over 100 young alumni gathered in the gym this past Saturday to play each other in basketball. All proceeds went to supporting our basketball team.
Are you an alum who wants to support our team. If so then help sponsor our basketball kit for 2014 school year. Contact the school for more details
On June 8 we will host an Alumni Basketball Game. The game will tip-off at 6 pm in Washington Heights' Most Famous Arena. The fundraiser will help us purchase new uniforms for our CYO basketball teams.

Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful mothers, grandmothers and aunts of Saint Elizabeth School. For over 75 years, mothers have helped their children attend Saint Elizabeth. We often receive cards and letters from alumni telling us how hard their families worked to put them through school and asking that they be kept alive in our prayers. Today we celebrate all those great ladies who worked hard to send our alumni to Saint E's. Perhaps alumni want to share a memory on this post.

No matter how we tried the PreK's , Kinder's and 1st Graders could not find the leprechaun today. He did however leave a gift of candy in Mr. Cunningham's office! The only sign he was here - was his hat!!! Maybe tomorrow.

Dr. Timothy McNiff - Superintendent of Schools - visited our Saint Elizabeth School today to discuss the role of technology in our school with some of our alumni.
He also stopped by the 8th Grade Classroom to offer words of encouragement to our 8th Graders as they prepare for High School
