In case you've been living under a rock:

After a brief hiatus due to COVID, Kehilas Shulchan Baruch has been active this semester. Baruch Mechayeh HaMeisim!

We have had maariv minyanim, Kiddushes, Halakha Chuburas and more!

Maariv minyanim will continue through finals as long as chevra is around.

Let us bid adieu to this hallowed קהילה הקדושה and remember all the times the librarian shushed those who upheld the longstanding minhag to speak loudly. We look forward to reopening in near future (hopefully). Sponsorships are still available for the חנוכת הבית, so act fast.

Thanks you to everyone who came out to our New Year's eve event last night at the Shul, here's a flashback to past celebrations from three and four years ago, back when KSB was still known as the "Fifth floor"!

In order to minimize the טירחא דציבורא inherent in keeping the 5th floor study area quiet for a minyan, we ask that our congregants please ensure that they attend our scheduled minyanim and do not organize their own minyanim at unscheduled times. If there's always a minyan going on, then no one can ever talk, and then we're no better than the 4th floor. As a reminder, our minyan times are 2:30 mincha and 10:00 maariv. If you have an afternoon final that's keeping you occupied at 2:30, please attend a different minyan for mincha.

On a lighter note, make sure to attend the 5th floor New Year's Eve ball drop tonight at midnight!

For anyone who may be unaware, the Kehilla is having daily minyanim throughout finals: 2:30 mincha and, as usual, 10:00 maariv. All times are VST.
