It’s International Women’s Day and it’s making us think back to the events we’ve had this past year as a part Cardozo’s Cardozo School of Law Women’s Votes, Women’s Voices: The 19th Amendment at 100 series. We’re highlighting two quotes from Dean Melanie B Leslie. In the first, from the series launch event on June 4, Dean Leslie calls on us to look at how far we’ve come in the first century since the 19th Amendment has been passed, and where we hope to go moving forward. In the second, from her introductions from the Justice Sotomayor & Justice Abella visit, Dean Leslie explains how the events & scholarship from Women’s Votes, Women’s Voices can be broadly applied to the issues we’re facing today.
