At The Renaissance Charter School, we believe true leadership begins with generosity.

Every spring, 440 Renaissance students volunteer across New York City during our annual Community Service Day — serving meals, tending community gardens, supporting seniors, reading to younger children, and lending a hand wherever it's needed. It’s one of the most joyful days of our year and a living lesson in what it means to lead with heart.

Our motto has always been:
“Developing Leaders for the Renaissance of New York.”

And leadership, to us, is rooted in selfless service: giving without expecting anything in return, understanding that small acts of kindness can ripple outward in powerful ways.

When you donate, you become part of that circle of leadership.
Your generosity mirrors the very values we teach our students: compassion, courage, and care for community. You extend our "global village" beyond our building walls and show our young people what it looks like when adults lead with heart too.
