Monday, August 4th, is the first Monday of August. That means it is time for the August edition of our "First Monday" tour! This is our regular, monthly event, inviting visitors inside to view our library collection.
This month, we are taking a look athe history of ophthalmology. We’ll be taking a look at some wonderful books about eyes published between the 16th and 20th centuries.
No reservation is required to join this FREE tour! If interested, please meet in the NYAM lobby at 1216 Fifth Ave at noon this Monday, August 4th.

Kick-off is 5:45pm at our neighbor, Museum of the City of New York. From 6pm-9pm, all of Museum Mile will be closed to cars as you enjoy the stroll and offerings from 82nd to 110th Street. We'll be set up across from the park between 102nd and 103rd.
