During this a to our Music Teachers: Mr. Hughes (Elementary School) and Ms. Santiago (Middle School).
At GCCS, we believe that MUSIC enables our students to build a strong foundation for learning ~ and life! From improving reading, listening and problem-solving skills, to encouraging a sense of community, connections with other cultures, and teamwork, music helps our students strengthen their self-confidence and self-expression. And all those benefits "sound" great to us!

Getting a great thinking back to the March 12 Middle School Community Circle where students in grades 5 to 8 presented excerpts from the plays they read in Language and Literature during this trimester, including from Greek Mythology and Shakespeare, as well as "Twelve Angry Men" and "A Raisin in the Sun." Parents, along with GCCS staff and students, cheered everyone on!
