⚓️📰 UPDATE: CNO Strengthens Global Maritime Partnerships at 15th Trans-Regional Seapower Symposium

📍 VENICE, Italy – Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Daryl Caudle joined senior naval leaders from around the world at the 15th Trans-Regional Seapower Symposium in Venice, Italy, Oct. 6-7, underscoring the importance of international partnerships, maritime security and innovation in addressing shared challenges at sea.

Hosted by the Italian Navy, the symposium brought together the heads of nearly 80 navies from around the world, along with experts from industry, academia, science and technology, to examine how regional maritime challenges increasingly produce global consequences.

Caudle said the symposium provides an important forum for building the relationships needed to confront challenges that transcend national boundaries.

“For 30 years, this symposium has brought naval leaders together here at Venice’s historic Arsenal, a place with centuries of maritime history behind it,” said Caudle. “The challenges we face at sea don’t stop at national borders, and no nation, no matter how capable, can address them alone.”
