Columbia University's EWB Uganda Program, working with the community of Orungo in Soroti, Uganda to install a solar-powered electrification system.
Founded in 2008, EWB-USA Columbia University's Uganda Program is starting a new project working on rural electrification in Soroti, Uganda. We are exploring the use of photovoltaic systems to provide energy to the community of Orungo. We have also worked on rainwater harvesting and agricultural processing projects in Soroti.
