The Staten Island Young Democrats recognize the passing of Sebastian Franco and offer our condolences to his friends and family. Sebastion was a former Young Democrat, someone passionate about politics and government, and someone very involved at a young age. He accomplished many things related to civic engagement, policy, and activism, but we are sure his greatest impact was on the lives he touched. Rest in peace Sebastian. Once a Young Democrat, always a Young Democrat.

Mike represents the direction we want the party and country to head in. As young people, his positions on healthcare for all, student loan relief, expanding public transit, ending forever wars, and Abolish 🧊 speak to us.
He is fighting for a better future for us and the country.
Please just remember to vote as there is still a primary for NY-11!

Thank you to everyone in the community for attending our first Democratic Candidate Forum yesterday. We had an insightful conversation with .decillis about his vision for our district and the county.
Thank you for St. John's Episcopal Church for hosting the event. It's always a pleasure to speak to Democratic candidates and we look forward to more opportunities in the future to highlight our public officials across Staten Island.
May the 4th be with us all!

May Day celebrates the working class and promotes the international labor movement. Interestingly the United States does not celebrate it with many other countries across the globe.
In the United States, May Day is tied to the 1886 general strike which started on May 1st and led to the Haymarket Affair in Chicago, IL.
Happy May Day everyone!
