One of my favorite parts about studying abroad in Argentina was the artwork/graffiti culture! In
Argentina, graffiti is legal. In fact, the city of Buenos Aires hires individuals to paint murals! Once a
year, there is an art/graffiti festival in La Boca, Argentina. Artists from all over the world attend and the
artwork I saw was honestly spectacular. The whole city is lit up in colors. This isn't just unique to the
center of Buenos Aires, but also in more suburban areas like the neighborhood I was living in. The
photo of the church you see was made to honor Pope Francis who is from Argentina, the architecture
honestly made my jaw drop.
