Today, I had the distinct honour of signing, on behalf of Trinidad and Tobago🇹🇹, the agreement establishing diplomatic relations with Eritrea🇪🇷.
Eritrea, strategically located along the Red Sea, is a nation rich in history, resilience, and cultural heritage. As a gateway between Africa and the Middle East, it holds significant geopolitical and economic importance.
This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter of cooperation, mutual respect, and shared opportunity between our two countries. We look forward to deepening engagement across areas of common interest, including trade, development, and multilateral collaboration.
