🖤 In an effort to honor the lives and legacies of the 15,000+ facility residents who have died from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, March 25th has been designated as 'We Care' Remembrance Day 🖤

This picture taken almost a year ago exactly was one of the hardest days in the beginning of the pandemic. A day when we lost a patient unexpectedly and were still unsure what we were battling. I will never forget the day, the feeling, the sadness.
We’ve come a long way and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished and how hard we’ve worked.

A family member asked me today how could she show my staff she appreciated them, and all I could answer was “just say thank you, I appreciate you.” You’d be surprised how little we hear that.
