Hi everyone! ✨

We’re excited to invite volunteers to join us for the 39th Annual Loisaida Festival — a vibrant celebration of Puerto Rican, Caribbean, Latiné, and immigrant cultures through music, art, food, and community connection.

Our team will support festival attendees by:

* Providing blood pressure screenings
* Promoting health and wellness education
* Sharing community health resources
* Engaging with the local community

We’re looking for 5–6 active NAHN members who are interested in giving back, gaining community outreach experience, and promoting wellness in a fun and meaningful environment 💙

This is a great opportunity to:
* Earn volunteer/community service hours
* Build public health and outreach experience
* Network with healthcare professionals
* Connect with the community

🌍✈️ Medical Mission Opportunity – Dominican Republic ✈️🌍
Angel Garcia, CRNA, active member of NAHN New York, is helping organize an upcoming medical mission with Pons Dominican Republic Medical Mission.
📍 Location: San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic
📅 Dates: March 7–14, 2026
We are currently seeking 2 OR nurses to assist with general surgery, including:
• Hernias
• Gallbladders
• Breast cases
• Minor surgical procedures
🎓 Students are welcome to shadow Angel during the anesthesia portion or shadow our experienced RNs.
📝 A 501(c)(3) form will be provided after the mission.
