Dear nglccNY Community

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Kellie Parkin, this past weekend. Kellie was an invaluable member of our team and community, leading nglccNY as Executive Director for the last two years after a long tenure as the head of NGLCC's Orlando Affiliate. Her absence will be deeply felt, and she will be deeply missed.

For those who had the privilege of knowing and loving Kellie like so many of us, we recognize that this loss is difficult to process. We send our deepest sympathies to Kellie's family and loved ones, particularly her children, as they cope with her passing.

For the time being, NGLCC's Vice President of Affiliate Relations, Jason Rae, and Associate Director of Affiliate Relations, Jessye Grieve-Carlson, along with the NGLCC Executive Team, will step in to assist Gunner Gardner, Senior Manager of nglccNY Membership & Certification, to support nglccNY activities as we work to identify an interim leader.

With heartfelt sympathy,

Justin Nelson
